Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had some shortcomings with the old-fashioned rooms not living up to the 4-star description and cleanliness issues. However, the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was decent but a bit far from the old town. The dining options were mixed, with some nice features but also areas that needed improvement.
The hotel offers very comfortable rooms and friendly service, situated in a nice neighborhood with good dining options nearby. While the location is convenient for city walks, it's not right in the tourist hub. The dining experience, though limited, includes an excellent evening meal choice. The facilities are well-maintained, making the stay enjoyable and offering good value for money.
The hotel rooms were huge, with a nice living area between both rooms, spacious and had everything you'd expect, but they need radical renovation. The service was in general friendly and happy to help me with luggage lost by the flight company, very nice and helpful, but they need to come up and show what haven't been done. The location is really good, close to the city center, within walking distance to many tourist sites but not in the midst of the whole tourist atmosphere. The dining experience had a good choice of foods with tasty dishes but was below expectations. The facilities require improvement.
The hotel rooms are very spacious with a large bath, feeling almost like a small suite. They were big, clean, and well-equipped, though there was just a fan.
The hotel's location was perfect for attending an event at Arena Riga and it's great being close to public transport and the old city. The rooms, however, are quite moderate and dark, needing some refreshment. The service was cordial and very helpful, though not on a 4-star level. Dining options were pretty good, but it may be better to eat out in one of Riga's many cafes instead.
